Code Extends Product Warranty Periods
Code Readers prove endurance and reliability
Draper, UT – December 22, 2006 – Due to remarkable reliability of its core products,
Code Corporation has extended its product warranties. Extended to three
years is the warranty for Code Reader 2 (CR2), the recently released
Code Reader 1200 (CR1200), CodeXML Modem, battery chargers, stands,
power supplies and the H2 cabled handle. Also extended is the warranty
for Code Reader 3 (CR3) Portable Data Terminal to two years, as well
as batteries and battery handle accessories.
"Our products have proven their endurance," said George Powell, president and CEO of Code Corporation. "Code Readers are in the third generation of manufacture and have proven their
ability to withstand harsh production environment use. Our valued customers
and distributors will benefit from these newly extended warranty periods."
Effective for all models put in service after December 1,
2006:
- Code Reader 2.0 models with SKU's beginning CR2012
will carry a three year warranty.
- Code Reader 1200 models with SKU's beginning CR1200
will carry a three year warranty.
- H2 Ruggedized Cabled Handle accessory with SKU CR2AG-H2
will carry a three year warranty.
- CodeXML Bluetooth Modem, models beginning BTHDG-M2,
will carry a three year warranty.
- Code Reader 3.0 models with SKU's beginning CR3012
will carry a two year warranty.
- Code serial numbered accessories, including battery
chargers, stands, and power supplies will carry a two
year warranty.
- Code battery accessories with SKU's CR2A-B2, CR2AG-BH1
and CR2AG-BH2 will carry a two year warranty, or until
battery capacity after recharge is less than sixty
percent of new, whichever is shortest.
- Code battery and battery handle accessories designated
with reader packages as "B2", "BH1" and "BH2" will
carry a two year warranty, or until battery capacity
after recharge is less than sixty percent of new, whichever
is shortest.

Manuals for the product at the time the unit is put
