There are several considerations for enabling
Bluetooth communication between a Code reader and host
computer. You may have Bluetooth capabilities built-in
to your host computer.
Alternatively, you may choose to purchase the CodeXML
Modem with its 'plug & play' capabilities, minimizing your on-going hardware/software considerations.
As a third alternative and as a service to our customers,Code
offers the Belkin USB Adaptor. When combined with the
required drivers, this product enables Bluetooth communications
between
a Code reader and host computer. The Belkin USB Adaptor
is available in long-range or short-range options and
is packaged with two QuickConnect labels (one label
each for the host computer and a paired reader).
Note: The installation (and subsequent upgrade/maintenance) of Belkin software
drivers is required to utilize this product. Additionally, your
connectivity options are limited to USB. Code Corporation
