Batteries

Code bar code readers feature lithium ion batteries. The batteries are long-life, allowing readers to be used for more than a complete shift at the highest use rate. Code's modular design allows a user to quickly exchange a drained battery with a charged battery without taking a bar code reader out-of-service. Batteries are available in cartridge and handle formats.

Battery Cartridges BH1/BH2 - Ruggedized Battery Handle
 

Battery cartridges features and benefits include:

  • 'Quick release' features allows batteries to be changed and still remain in service

  • High read rate per charged battery

  • Available in 1950mAH

  • Battery blank cartridge available

Battery Handle features and benefits include:

  • Optional 'quick release' or secured screw attachment connection to handle using battery compartment

  • Elastomer over-molding improves drop resilience

  • Reader window and LEDs have additional protection

  • Extended trigger life of three million activations

  • Accommodates optional lanyard hook attachment to reader

  • Re-charge battery handles with a charger cable and power supply
